Happy Birthday Anne!!!!!!!!

Anne had such an awesome first birthday! I don't think I could have planned for things to go any better...thank you Lord! She was in a great mood and played all day. We started having company about 8:30 even though the party didn't start until 11...it was much needed help, though. When everyone got there....We decided to open presents first because I knew once she had cake we would have to have a bath! She was definitely more interested in the paper, but is enjoying all of her new toys. * THANKS EVERYONE!!! She got a wagon, ball pit, cabbage patch doll, police car (thanks cousin RJ), toddler chair, clothes, money, and lots of other great toys! The cake eating was hilarious!!! She and Lily dove into it like pros. I think they both had a great time.
Even though this was such a joyous occasion, after everyone left and things quieted down I really took a minute to reflect over the past year. I can't believe that Anne is already one year old. It has been the hardest year and our best year ever! She is absolutely precious to us and we are so glad God chose us to be her parents!

Playing in my room.....

Anne is so full of energy lately...our daily routine is we come home, get a snack, play in her room for a while (or in the living room; wherever the toys are), eat dinner, get a bath, read a story, sing songs, and go to bed. All of this happens by about 6:30! I am one tired momma at the end of the day, but I wouldn't take anything for it. Anne is so fun to be with and it gets better everyday. I can't imagine life without her and I try not to imagine it. I just want to praise God for every moment we have together and enjoy it.
*Update on Anne* She has not had a bottle in over a week! Yay! No more bottles to wash! She loves whole milk and her cup...is pretty much eating everything put to her mouth...loves bananas, oatmeal, nutrgrain bars, mac and cheese, shredded cheddar, crackers, chef boy r dee meals, cheerios, green beans, mashed potatoes, and anything she can feed herself.
Bath time remains one of her favorite past times.... will not sit down in her seat; wants to stand of course... loves her spuirt toys, splashing the water, and definitely sucking on the rag.
She loves to talk...I don't think she ever stops if she is awake...she is saying dadadadada, mamamamama, and bababababa...and sometimes hey, which is really funny! As you can see, we have a lot to keep us entertained!

I'm standing all by myself now!!!!
Wow!! I have six sharp choppers!!!
Looking like my Papa!!!

Our Little Valentine!!!

Anne was sooo precious in her Valentine's outfit from Aunt Ney Ney! We had a very busy Valentine's day and really did nothing special but this weekend has been great because we have totally relaxed...which is something we never do. I haven't even cleaned the house yet.... I'm really going to try to enjoy my family more and every precious moment I have with Anne.

BTW--Anne took her first step to me today! It was great!!! I think she was as shocked as I was by the look on her face. She is also addicted to the TV....but only cartoons. She loves the PBS shows already. Maybe she will be an early reader! haha

Anne and her friends...

We had the best time playing with Natalie and Lily last week at the church. They were so funny with each other. It's amazing to me how much they all have grown! We are getting ready to celebrate Anne's birthday next weekend. I can't wait to see her dive into her cake!

Moving on up.....

We have met yet another milestone in Anne's life. She is now facing the front in the car. She loves it because she can see everybody and everything going on!

Look...theres a cat!

We were getting ready to go to Hattiesburg when Anne caught a glimpse of the cat. She is soooo curious!
